Heard from an Isuzu SA that come October 1, the Alterra's list price will go down by a whopping 30K. Can anyone verify this with another source?
What could be the reason for ths price decrease when even Kia and Hyundai's SUV's are going up? Is Isuzu feeling the pinch from Mitsu's new MS and Toyota's newly launched face-lifted Fort?

It's no surprise that price drops are common at this time of the year. Car buying usually peaks towards Christmas time and minor price cuts like this are just one of the schemes to lure us buyers.
If this is Isuzu's gameplay, then other brands may offer generous dealer options, freebies, financing, insurance coverage and the like to counter their competitors.
What is a surprise is that the SUV segment is still very much patronized despite fuel prices going through the roof.
