sorry if i resurrected this thread from the dead. ayoko na gumawa ng another thread just to have help in answering my questions.

ask ko lang kase pinalitan ng alternator yung isuzu fuego na gamit ko (4ja1 engine). I bought a new alternator (Auto Denki brand, 4.8K petot)

hindi ko napansin na hindi pala kinabit yung alternator bracket (noob problems tsk!). i only found out yesterday when I asked my suking mekaniko to have the belt of the alternator tightened.

nahigpitan naman yung belt but he removed the battery to gain access to it and sabi niya sa akin na hindi daw kinabit yung bracket.

my questions:

should I have the bracket re-installed as far as I know mukhang mas maliit yung alternator na nabili ko? nadala na sa province yung lumang alternator ko eh (but I can always have it brought back here).

may possible problems ba if walang bracket na nakakabit, like masira yung alternator due to excessive vibrations or worse baka matanggal na lang bigla yung alternator habang nagddrive ako?! LOL!
