help nman dyan...i hav a fuego 01 model 4x2..medyo mahina na hatak nya.110kph lang top speed...is there a way to extend its speed?do i need to have a nozzle check/ calibrate it? any suggestions??

March 7th, 2007 05:15 AM #2since ito ay 01 pa, try to consider this possibilities:
1) a compression check will determine if your pistons have to be overhauled na.
2) baka ang clutch mo palitin na rin...a slight slipping/sliding can cause this low hatak and lower top speed than before.
3) baka madumi ang air intake areas (dirty chamber and filters can "slow down")
4) and the nozzle and calibration as you mentioned na.

while youre at it have the valves set na lang.
have you changed the tranny, diff oils since new? if not now is the right time. remember isuzu uses motor oil for the tranny.

ganyan din nangyari sa pickup ko b4 sagd na sa flooring,then dinala ko sa mechanic and check the FUEL FILTERS ayun barado na yung filter ng latak kaya pala hirap ng humtak kaya pinalitan yung 2 fuel filters and yung gas tank pina drain kona at pinalinis( antayin mo mag empty ka para di sayang) ang gas, mine kc 1/2 pa ng pina drain ko nasayang lang dina pwede gamimitin. kaya ingat sa mga gas stations din lalo nasa bahaing lugar....then pag ganun pa din calibrate na mdyo mahal ng alang mine was P12,xxx inabot replace ng noozle pero sulit pag nagawa.
