I didn't know that I left the right rear window open. A cracked open window that left a puddle of water.
So I removed the damp rear seat and vacuumed the water.
I left it on the sun for a while.
I wanted to clean the mess I made in every nooks and crannies so I removed the metal frame. The bolts are 14 and 12 mm wrench.
I forgot to mention that in removing the rear seat, you just pull it out in the plastic side where the metal part of the seat is snapped.
Going back, the metal underneath is now exposed.

It is easier of course to remove the carpet by removing the plastic trims around it, including the side where the seatbelt is attached.
After cleaning with the aid of my trusty vacuum cleaner, I collected a five inch depth of water! I couldn't believe it, a centimeter of water puddle has this volume.
I left the job of drying it completely with the electric fan.

I decided later that I should thoroughly clean the removed seat. So I soaked it with water and brushed it with soap.
After rinsing it with running water, I left it under the sun.
Today is the second day and it is almost dry.
I don't know if it was a good idea to soak it with water, it might leave a nasty smell later.
If you have any suggestions for a chemical cleaner that I should use, please do so.
And before I forget, this is a Honda City 2009.
