Yeah, noong araw 1 year lang ang warranty.

Nung mag-2year warranty ang Kia para sa mga Besta feeling ko napakaswerte ko na.

Tapos nowadays normal na ang 3 year warranty.

The only disadvantage to this is you have to have your vehicle maintained at the dealership for the warranty period.

Malabong ma-eliminate mga small time talyers. Unless ma-eliminate mo mga jeepneys, and those imported 2nd hand trucks. And pano sa ika-11th yr ng car mo (after warranty), will you still bring it to the casa for minor repairs?

anyway, keep in mind again that the 10 year warranty for Hyundai in NA is only the powertrain - the engine, transmission, etc. yes, that is great peace of mind because the most expensive bits are protected, but in my experience those are not the parts that fail all the time anyway because they tend to be overengineered.

all the other stuff like the a/c, suspension, interior, electrical, etc etc....are protected by a 5 year warranty "only". it is still an excellent (and class-leading) warranty, but don't expect that you can take your US-bought Hyundai back to the casa for absolutely everything for the next decade.

i did say fly by night talyers. mga talyers na can't afford maghintay ng 10 years warranty para sila kumita. i'm citing the 3year warranty as standard in all cars today na isang cause kumbakit lalo kumonti mga fly by night talyers.

third party talyers like Rapide, Servitek, Cats can continue kasi may pangalang naman sila and they're well funded.

yun naman sa mga jeepney shops. sino naman matino car owner makikisabay duon.

kung 30-yr old car, hehehe baka mas rare pa mekaniko or vintage expert na gagawa nya. considering how fast our technology is changing right now, ewan ko lang kung makakakita ka pa ng madami gumagawa ng nokia 5110 o IBM AT, that goes the same with cars too.
