Just like Djerms, I'm getting around 16-19L/100Km on the display which would roughly be between 5-6 km/L. I've had the car for only 3 days though and have not had the chance to really drive around. Medyo mabagal lang din ang speed while still getting familiar with the vehicle.

I'm not sure how reliable yung on board computer on calculating gas consumption. I'd like to enjoy the car for awhile and just manually compute for the consumption on my next full tank.

After break-in, I expect the consumption to improve...hopefully to around 9km/L or more.

Am now getting 13-14L/100Km. Marikina to The Fort and back....... tame driving with medium traffic. I agree that it would be best to manually compute the fuel consumption and I would be happy if it hits 7 to 8 km/l. I like this car better than the Ford 2.0 TDCi A/T Powershift which I sold to my cousin (barely 1,800km old, still no plates).......because I am very relaxed driving the Tucson, the styling is more than nice, handling and power is satisfactory, and I feel comfortable inside. Don"t get me wrong ........ the Focus is a more powerful and fuel efficient vehicle (aggressive driving - 9.5km/l >city; 15km/l>highway) ......If the Tucson hadn't come out I would have maintained my Focus.

the distance is too short. hindi pwede gawing basis ata yan

its an indicative fiugre. i would surmise that even if you travel 100km under the same conditions the fuel economy would be the same, if not even better

short trips, low average speeds and moderate to heavy city traffic will always take a toll on fuel economy

Anybody noticed the strip under the logo at the front grille in the newspaper and internet pics missing from the display units?

Is it confirmed that only the premium 4x4's have that design element? Or duling lang ako?
