May 1st, 2008 10:18 PM #12The outlander has good looks and a good interior. Thats it.
The Santa Fe on the other hand, has good looks too inside out. But it's under the hood that draws a fine line between the 2 models. The SF is equipped with not just an ordinary CRDI engine but a CRDI VGT. When I test drove the SF, my whole perception of a diesel engine changed. It had a lot of power and torque. Hyundai did a an excellent job with the SF- a very smooth ride, sleek interior, perfect engine, unique design etc...
I suggest you go to any Hyundai casa and test drive one thenim sure you'll agree with me.

Mods, pakimerge naman dun sa existing thread. TY.
Anyway, di ba magkaibang size category 'tong dalawa? Yung Outlander sa mini-SUV tapos yung Sta. Fe midsized-SUV. So size-wise, yung Tucson ang nasa same category ng Outlander.

The Santa Fe is a very comfortable vehicle, fuel efficient, smooth and a seven-seater to boot.
The Outlander is similar in size. While the Santa Fe may be a bit bigger, that extra space goes to the third row, not the first and second. The Outlander is a sportier car, with good handling and power. But it only comes in gas. The interior is nice, but the Outie's plastic doors are Ford-level horrid. The Santa Fe may have corny wood trim, but otherwise, it feels a bit more luxurious.
Each car caters to different priorities. Head: Santa Fe. Heart: Outie. You decide which is more important.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

May 11th, 2008 01:29 AM #15i also think na kung ok lang sa yo ang gas na auto (kahit na may darating na PhP 7.00 incrrease ang fuels) you should go ahead with the outlander (which was also a personal choice based on looks).
on the other hand, if you are looking for a diesel powered ride (like i am now) , it will have to be the santa fe.
peace out!
