Try searching for the threads dedicated for either vehicle.
Both vehicles have garnered good reviews from tsikoteers here.
The hyundai can have a diesel CRDi... the mitsu supposedly has a better sound system.
Personally, I like the outlander for its looks

April 29th, 2008 09:32 PM #6at least not in the Phil. spec. but they do have the 2.0li Turbo diesel for the Euro market. now the real meat we have to wait for is the 2.2li Twin turbo good for around 175hp mated to the same 2pedal automated Manual transmission fm. the Evo-X called the SST. i just hope its almost same price as gen2 Sta. Fe w/ CrDi. then i would be waiting in line :-)

Sta Fe would be the most wise choice and the most practical to use. It's CRDI prowess would feed your gas- hungry mind once you experienced driving it, with diesel as fuel of course, what else could you ask for? A really bang for the buck. Just upgrade your sound system sooner or later so to envy those Rockford fosgate fanatics. Choose the silver one for the best impact..... hehehehehe!
