if i really wanted to make an issue out of it...i beleive i could..because if you looked at the PO, description of my vehicle includes the self leveling suspension...tamad lang ako to pursue this case....

wala po talaga itong self leveling suspension feature ng santa fe. kung mapapansin po ninyo sa brochure tinanggal na ito. originally po kasi meron talaga but HARI decided not to put this feature at the last minute...
Hi Lui,
I know you can answer this question.
Is the Alarm included in all Santa Fe units?
My dealer is asking me to pay 5k for the alarm.
Pero ung ibang posters dito sinasabi na may alarm naman daw yong sa kanila.
Please clarify.
I feel robbed talaga. Kung wala lang pasok ngayon, umikot na ako sa mga dealers to verify this.
Posted a while back but have been following this thread regularly since th SF is on the top of my list.
I have some comments and query. After hearing from this thread that there is no self-levelling suspension (initially i thought there was), I called HARI to ask. At first the person i talked to couldn't confirm but he gave me a return call shortly thereafter to CONFIRM that the SF here in PH has none. Accdg to him, NO units have it since they first sold the SF. So sir old blue; palagay ko wala din yong sa yo.
Just called an SA of Hyundai Fort and she confirmed Keyless entry na lang and wala na yung alarm.
I think HARI should be outright clear to their dealers when they give product training to avoid misrepresentation :twak2:. So that you actually are made FULLY aware what you're paying for and what isn't included.:nonono:
Will still follow this thread to be well informed, coz I'll be making my purchase this Oct. To those who bought, check the quotations your dealer gave you which was the reference of your purchase. You can most probably demand for what was left out.
well, kung kami naman tatanungin. when we bought the sf last aug 2006, we never had the foggiest what a self-leveling suspension is
basta there were only 2 choice that time: Fortuner vs. Sta Fe. we needed a crdi suv. medyo ang dami bad feedbacks sa fort dahil dun sa crdi problem nya. and my brother was quite happy with his getz crdi.
so yun Hyundai SF na lang.
the problem kasi ngaun is there are too many choices; crv, outlander, captiva, tiggo , sportage. kaya litong-lito kayo comparing specs just to arrive at the final decision.
eto na lang siguro, to make you people decide.
choose fuel first. per experience, tig-dalawa kami ng tsikot ng dad ko. guess what parati laman ng garahe namin eh yun CRV saka Explorer. as in once or twice a week na lang talaga namin nailalabas. usually on sundays pa. the sta fe and starex crdi's are workhorses for us. sulit na sulit kahit san ka pumunta long travel, unpredictable traffics etc.
so in case you decide diesel: bale eto na lang bnew choices nyo. ruled out na kagad crv, outlander, rav4, tiggo
choices:
alterra, fortuner, sportage, SF, tucson, pajero 3rd gen, patrol, captiva
there is however another good diesel out there, pero pickup. yun strada. and feel na feel ko talaga satisfaction ng owners sa strada thread. yun hilux kasi parang fort din matagtag.
=====
oops nakalimutan ko yun everest. siguro ok din 'to kasi I trust Ford diesels.
nowhere in their brochure does it mention na may self leveling suspension, so if the SA is saying before na meron then the dealers were misrepresenting their sales...
its easy naman to check... those with 2006 or early 2007 units punuin mo yung likod ng tao para mabigat and see if the height is still the same...

whose your SA sa Fort?my SA told me meron daw:wonder:
Bought my SF from Hyundai Balintawak last Sept 8 and I just checked it now there is an alarm. I opened it with the key and the horn started sounding.
