improved, around 11 or 12 pero parang naging sticky yung start from 0 acceleration. Sabi ng service advisor baka daw marumi na yung air filter kaya papacheck ko na lang sa 5K PMS. It's still very fast though once you get past the 2nd gear. :D

Cainta - QC - Manila and back, no highway these days. Occassional traffic in Manila.
Speed is from 40-160kph. average is 90kph
Actually, 12 is still not good kasi diba there's this New Zealander who got 16.7km/L. i want to do that as well kaso nakakawili kasi yung automatic minsan. Ang cause for high fuel consumption i think is the automatic mode shifting kind of late. like dapat naka Gear5 ka na pero 4 pa lang sya. i switch from auto to manual from time to time.

October 20th, 2006 09:50 AM #487shell helix (full synthetic) ang gamit ko....i think it may be more of my driving habits nga cguro...medyo heavy on the pedal.
so far, i have not owned a car that gave me over 7/ltr....so pinaka matipid na tong sta fe...
I dont think the 17/ltr would be possible in manila....roads conditions abroad are diff...not much traffic and their definition of highway is diff from ours (ang highway natin dito edsa....which is actually a PARKING LOT!). Their version of "city driving" is closer to our "highway" driving....

i'm still averaging 8km/liter. hindi ko ma-improve. mali ata timing ko sa manual mode.
pano ba malaman kung mag-shift na. sakin, 0-20kmh = 1, 21-30kmh = 2, 31-50 = 3, 51-70 = 4, 71 above 5 na. mali ba?
sa manual trans kasi, i dont pay attention to the speedometer, basta I know when's the time to shift pag naramdaman ko na engine.

Meron pa bang matatawag na "highway driving sa atin"? SLEX is more like city driving (except sa madaling araw). NLEX and Star Way is probably the closest but when you get to the end puro tricycle na ang overtake mo
