September 18th, 2013 02:35 PM #1I just got the subject unit last week. TCI variant has no central lock. Apparently, the dealer doesn't recommend installing central locks since the cable in the lock mechanism breaks easily. Can anyone suggest a good alternative given above? (Aside from changing the doors to crdi type). Better if tried and tested. Thanks in advance

That is a TCi M/T bro.
TCi A/T, the variant that I have, has central lock, alarm and remote.
Our company purchased a TCi M/T and we had Hyundai install central lock/alarm/remote...
After 3 years of ownership,- no issue....
(I agree that Goodgear/Fronte are equivalent/ better alternatives)
