EB na for EGR blanking to share the knowledge .. not yet try pa sa GS ko mga paps pero sa fortuner at xwind effective sya wala na usok sinabay na linis intake.. pwede na isabak sa ASBU sa makati mga starex ...

yung gauge 16 paps na G.I un ang ginamit before sa xwind oks naman ung sa fortuner nag pa machine shop kami ng makapal... kay sir Zix888 meron na sya plate dami nia na nakabitan blank ng egr sa Montero

For CR turbodiesels running higher egt's, mas safe ka sa stainless steel dahil mataas melting point.

I bought this Midwest aviation snips that is capable up to 20ga stainless steel. For DIYers planning to fabricate blanking plates, this might be a good tool instead of cutting using a jig and grinder like what i did. Thicker gauge in the exhaust if you are going to remove the pipe.

Bro.,- I think it depends on where the sensor for the EGR is positioned. If it does not detect that the EGR is functional, then CEL....

My wild guess is that this is what I triggered on a couple of occasions when I drove hard both the Gen3 and the GS uphill....

you can blank at any point, kung saan convenient. dont worry there is no sensor to detect if exhaust gas is being recirculated or not. for as long as your egr valve follows the ecu conmand on its percent opening, walang CEL.
