Performance of my about 5 yr old crdi ay maganda pa rin. Over all performance?? Several times I smoked monteros in SLEX (mine is chipped though), Handling is very stable with the 235 wide rubber, I'm very satisfied. About low resale value? well you can check the selling price, its looking good as you can see in sulit and other car selling website, it's up to you how you look at it. If you see a well maintained 1st gen tucson with price ok for your wallet then go ahead, buy & enjoy the power of crdi tucson. HTH

i dont have any issue with my 3y/o gen 1 CRDI except for the 4 tires i changed this month. cool AC, handling, speed, classic looks, what more can i say...as for the parts, you can buy at goodgear in pasay rotonda or at seiring along araneta ave or fronte banawe, all orig parts and price are comparable but slightly cheaper than other known brand.
