basically, a civic is a bit larger, "more luxuriously appointed" (some might question this statement), and is thus more expensive, than a city.

Smaller and cheaper (some might even say quality is a tier lower) ang City.

Analogy would be: Corolla-Altis is to a Civic, as a Vios is to a City.

What was your reaction to the Brio/Amaze and Wigo?

When we were in college, its either you drove a Civic (EG or EK) or a Corolla (E90 or E100)

Then the City (locally, the 3rd Gen) and later the Vios was released. They were "new" pero we all felt it was a step below the Corolla and the Civic.

But they did get the Honda Fit (locally known as the Jazz), which is the Japan-made hatchback version of the City.

Or, to use a U.S. Toyota market equivalent: Honda City to Toyota Yaris(about 10% smaller overall than a Corolla).
