You better fix it as soon as possible bro....
Power steering fluid is corrosive and it will destroy components in the engine bay, like your compressor or alternator....

same scenario here, i parked my car at our garage, i saw leaks of power steering fluid until i opened the reservoir for power steering fluid its already half empty, i brought my car asap onto nearest petron for checking, they said it will cost me around 4k for materials + 1k or 2k for labor, per mechanic it can be used for 6months pa, what ive done is bought powersteering fluid and filled my reservoir, and filling, theres no leak na, do i need to fix it pa? will it affect my engine? steering? or whatsoever?

September 23rd, 2012 07:40 PM #10salamat mga pards, ok n ung leaks, had my pump OH sira ang oil seals, paayos nyo or pcheck nyo yan if u encounter nababawasan fluid, corosive nga yan, from my exp nasisira tlaga mga belts. usually the leaks are coming from the hoses, sirang power steering pump or worse sa rack and pinion (which costs a lot to O/H)
