October 29th, 2010 09:14 AM #1I have a car honda city 98 which has a very noisy engine. I have already bought it to a respectable mechanic to adjust valve clearance but still no good. Last time sa cruven ko sya dinala pero hindi paren naayos. Ano na kaya problem nito?

October 29th, 2010 05:58 PM #5What kind of gasoline are you using? I would suggest filling up with an octane rating of 93 and above. Then observe if the noise will go away.
If your engine is long due for an oil change, I suggest to do this asap and then observe.

Better check the rpm or idle mo baka mataas masyado. Idle normally 700-800 rpm
