November 3rd, 2010 09:18 AM #27One more question pa po, currently atf po yung nakalagay as PSF ko, not sure kung kelan pa yun dun kasi kakabili ko lang nung car, how urgent po ba na need ko na siya palitan ng PSF talaga? I mean based on your experience or people you know, may nasiraan na po ba? ng gear box etc?

yes sir flush your power steering immediately. buy 2 liters of honda PSF. Drain the fluid in your PS system
1. Jack up the front of the car.
2. remove the return hose from the reservoir and isaksak mo sa isang 2 liter bottle yung hose.
3. start the engine and let the fluid flow out. move the steeringwheel back and forth to evacuate the fluid in the rack and pinion.
4. Pour 1 liter of PSF into the reservoir continously and let it flow out of the return hose. This is done to flush out contaminated fluid.
5. Once no more fluid is coming out of the return hose turn off the engine and reinstall the return hose in the reservoir.
6. Fill up the reservoir with fresh new honda PSF upto the maximum level, then start the engine. Move the steering wheel back and forth 10 times while filling up the power steering reservoir to the maximum level. Do not overfill the reservoir make sure you dont go above the maximum level line.
7. Turn off engine and remove the jack.
