They have 2 cheap 7-seaters (BRV and Mobilio). The Civic far outsells the Altis, and so does the CRV vs the RAV4 (based on official 2019 sales figures, not sightings).

It's the lack of a pickup and PPV that kills them. It has never been their equity and they aren't pivoting that way, so chances are they'll slowly turn into a niche brand (ala Suzuki, Mazda, Subaru) in markets where pickup-platforms are all the rage.

I guess even without the PPVs and pickups, as a brand I thought honda used to sell more as a % of the market.
