It should work. Advantages, fuel is cheaper. Disadvantage, possible poor consumption... but this depends on the car model in question. Try it out and see if you like it.

September 17th, 2008 10:35 PM #3I have a friend who gases up with E10 fuel. But his is a 1996 model civic. And no problem according to him.
Anybody here ever tried E10 on a 2006-up civic, please share your observations.

September 18th, 2008 02:30 AM #4no problems with my 9 year old 1st gen HOnda crv. noon una lang fill-up lang, I felt na para ka naka-old school diesel. my car had some mild vibrations while in traffic. but nawala din, now I'm a happy E10 user.

my dad has a city 1.3 exi (95 or 96 ) and he has been using e10 since it was introduced in the market and he has not encountered any problems so far...

I have the said Civic model and I have to say its all fine, fuel consumption feels the same. I would go for it.
