sorry if this was posted or was asked before na din.
how long / soon kayo nag replace ng suspension parts for your BRV?
have a 2021 1st Gen BRV,
just replaced (both sides):
- rack end
- tie rod
- arm assembly
- stabilizer
didn't expected id be replacing them this soon.
I have a 2011 Honda Jazz GE, until now hindi ko pa pinapalitan yung similar parts with BRV.
Anyone has similar experience?
or talagang of low quality lang talaga suspension system ng BRV?

June 19th, 2024 10:27 PM #927thinking out loud to myself,
sometimes, it is neither the age in years of the vehicle nor the odometer reading, that dictates wear on the underchassis.
sometimes, it's one's usual driving route and/or one's driving habits.
and before one says that i drive both cars above with equal fervor,
"how do i really drive one car, and how do i drive the other car?"
might i inquire, what are the odometer readings of them cars, po?
also,
i vaguely recall, the jazz is made in japan, while the brv is made... elsewhere...,
if that matters.
finally,
"not all parts manufacturers are the same..."
my close relative has a 2019s brv that gets regularly driven in the highway.
no need to replace underchassis yet.
and yubby is right,
why did the guy say your underchassis needed fixin' ? are the symptoms of worn underchassis parts, evident?
not to put anyone on the spot, but... based on personal experience, it is not that difficult to convince some folks that their underchassis needs replacement, by just wiggling them uplifted front tyres...
when i was a noobie, i had my non-honda underchassis repaired before the car reached 3 years.
today, i have a 2003 car that i replaced its factory ball joint just three years ago. the noise was so obvious, i did not need a mechanic to point it out to me.Last edited by dr. d; June 20th, 2024 at 12:14 AM.
