Mga sir ano po ba yung CVT fluid pano po ma check yun? newbie lang po ako pag dating sa mga makina na ng kotse

Kung Honda yung car mayroon silang specially formulated CVT transmission fluid for their cars, city and jazz. You can only buy this directly from Honda, very light pink ang color niya. If you use a different transmission fluid mabilis masisira ang transmission mo on your Honda car.

The Honda CVT ATF can be bought from automotive stores, Banawe, Taft, etc.

The Honda CVT ATF can be bought from automotive stores, Banawe, Taft, etc.

May list na binigay si Honda something yung username regarding other sources of Honda CVT transmission fluid, I called all of them pero lahat sila sinabi na compatible sa Honda CVT yung Honda ATF fluid nila pero hindi the same na CVT fluid na nabibili sa Honda CASA. Minsan yung regular na Honda ATF iaalok sa iyo, pink color ng liquid, which is totally different from Honda CVT which is very light pink liquid. Regular Honda ATF is different from Honda CVT fluid even though they are both for Honda automatic cars. Yung regular Honda ATF is not optimized for their Continuous Variable Transmission, kaya ang daming nasira agad when they released Jazz, kaya they formulated a fluid especially designed for their CVT transmission. If you make the mistake of putting the regular Honda ATF masisira CVT ng City or Jazz mo.

probably i suggest buy na lang sa casa para less hassle at baka ma-victim pa ng fake/imitiations..

normal atf na ginagamit sa mga gen1 crv / ek matic looks like this


then sa mga jazz and newer matic engines ganito yung cvtf.

Honda does not make oils, it's repacked Idemitsu.

Make sure na CVTF ang gagamitin nyo. Wag kayo magpapaniwala sa mga nagsasabing pwede ang ATF dahil parehas lang naman automatic. Sa mga casa kayo bumili para sure pero itawag nyo muna sa kanila bago kayo pumunta dahil minsan wala silang stocks.

Sir, City idsi A/T sa akin 03, wala naman issue sa cvt before at nagpalit na rin ng cvtf sa Honda Alabang. Mga 1 week ago, pansin ng wyf ko may "krrg" sound pag bigla arangkada from full stop. Pag dahan dahan sa accelerator, wala naman yung sound. Walang jerking o shuddering. Last na maintenance ay palit ng radiator kasi may leak na, wala naman leak sa may cvtf lines papunta sa radiator nung i-check ko. Tranny support din kaya ito?

Welcome to the Idsi CVT world. Maghanda ka na sir ng pera pampalit ng tranny dahil sa ganyan nagsimula yung sa akin bago bumigay yung tranny. As in krrrrgg ba na parang kinakapos yung makina na parang mamamatay pero hindi naman? He,he. Pwede din nman sir servo ang problema.

I own a Honda Fit as well.

Few months back, my wife was using the car and she suddenly heard and felt a thugging sound when accelerating. It was so loud inside the car that you would think the whole engine will fall apart.

We then brought it to a local mechanic in our area and was told that the tranny needs to be replaced already. We then head to Banawe and already picked a shop that will replace the tranny. Good thing though was that the shop's owner did not take advantage over us and told us that he felt it's not the tranny that needs to be replaced but the engine support. So bottomline, the replacement of the tranny did not push through and engine support was instead replaced.

But for the last few months, upon accelerating, nangingig ng malakas yung auto. Minsan sa parking lots ng malls, pagkuha mo ng card at paakyat agad yung daan, ang lakas ng nginig niya pero mawawala naman after few seconds.

What do you guys think the reason and what needs to be done?
