    Mga sir paki tulungan naman po ako dahil ung esi ko parang nag eengine break pag inalis sa gas tapak.tpos pag start sa umaga umiilaw ung check engine pag maiinit na wala na pag start..

    Normal yan kung mababa yung current gear mo kesa sa speed na tinatakbo ng auto mo. (Ex. Nasa 2nd gear ka pero takbo ng auto mo mga 40-50kph.)

    Baka ibig sabihin ni broTS, unang start ng makina sa umaga(malamig pa makina) doon umiilaw ang check engine. kapag uminit na, at mag-start uli, wala na yung ilaw ng check engine...

    sana may tama ako... jk.

    +1 to alBee normal yun sa d15b pag high rpm, low speed

    ibig sabihin up-shift ka na daw dapat

    parang lahat naman ng sinabi mo normal lang eh.

    engine braking - normal lang

    check engine - umiilaw talaga kapag nasa "on" lang ang susi. pagka-start mawawala talaga.

    yung pag eengine brake ang di ko maintindihan.. pero yung isa e ganun din ang problema ng d15b engine ko sa esi..pag malamig yung makina lalo sa umaga,matagal mag off yung check engine light (CEL) at ayaw mag start pero pag nag off na ung CEL e mag iistart na.kung mainit na yung makina e madali na rin mamatay yung CEL at ok na yung starting nya...try nyo pong palitan yung main relay,it might help..marami po sa evangeista/banawe...1k max ang price..

    this might be an old thread. but i also have a problem with cel on my honda civic 1996 lxi manual.

    when i switched on the cel lights up and will goes off for a second. then it will light up again. then when i start the engine, after how many minutes of idle, i smell a burning wire and guess it is coming from the back of the glove compartment. i already check the gas tank cover and its ok. but haven't try the codes. do you think replacing the relay assembly main will solve the problem?

    any help would be much appreciated!
