engine question: dip stick placement

ask ko lang po yun sa vti civic automatic 96...napansin ko yung dip stick para sa oil nasa harap ng engine...yung nakikita ko sa pics dito although indi same ng civic ko nasa may left side...ibang engine kaya ito? o normal ba po ito?

naka lagay naman po sa or d15b

Not 100% sure, but the D15B engine with the three-stage VTEC has the dipstick near the driver's side.

the first picture on the link, that's it!! does it mean that the car i have has the old vtec engine? and its an EG instead of an EK? OMG i was duped

I also have a Civic Vti 97, and its dipstick (engine is ph16) is on the right side, near the fan belt. pag d15 po ata, nsa gitna or sa harap ng makina.
