March 4th, 2015 06:37 PM #1Hello mga sir
Been a honda fan since my dad bought his accord noong 2003
im choosing between SiR or Eg hatch , my question is
its 2015 na , so is it still worthit to buy an eg hatch 94-95? or SiR ?
may nagbebenta kayang SiR na worth 200K or should i consider other cars like GSR etc
yung pang binata lang ba at pwede mong pormahan pa konte konte
thank you mga sir

both cars are old already. yung EG rust ang kalaban mo. yung SiR, price kalaban mo. ang luma na pero ang mahal parin ng price.

Nasa 300k+ pa ata value ng SiR. SiR body meron 200k mas less pa nga eh. Kung between the 2 of course SiR na.

March 4th, 2015 07:57 PM #4Thank you mga sir

March 4th, 2015 08:38 PM #5i have a 1996 honda civic vti, dont get me wrong the car still rocks and i love driving it.
pero kung worth it or not, i think it is not worth it to buy specifically based on sir CB's post above.
Just to provide you an idea, yung vti ko ako na halos nagmemekaniko, although hindi naman niya ako pinapalya pa, pero kung dadalhin mo sa repair shop, hindi din naman ganon masusunod yung gusto mo.
so in short, halos ikaw na din kakalikot ng auto mo.
had my car overhauled (Top Only) due to fear na abutan ako sa kalsada at baka biglang bumigay, no signs and whatsoever naman. it is well worth it naman sa fear kong matirikan at syempre kumpiyansa ko sa kotse ko.
if you have them, maintain them, if not, get a newer car.
at 200k i saw several altis's 2002 models at least VVTi na ito. or get a younger nissan SGX around 2006, or better yet have it a a DP sa brand new car like vios, altis, accent hatch etc. that will fit your budget.
last, the running tab for restoring my 96 VTI is around 70k. AT overhaul, Engine Overhaul, Roof Repair and Minor paint Job, Replacement of all suspension parts and bushing (except shocks bago pa eh 2 years pa lang) and other minot nitty gritty item to make it at its most pristine condition (e.g. power antenna, fog lamps, sensors etc.)Last edited by RomeoAlpha; March 4th, 2015 at 08:40 PM. Not worth it. Too expensive. 2004 ES is the oldest Civic I'd consider. 2009 FD MT is probably the best value in the market right now.
