It's always dependent on your last fill-up. After a long highway drive I will always get a 500-600 km range reading, compared to when I only drive in the city I just get a range of 350-400 km.

And more than driving style, it's the driving condition that matters more - an efficient driver stuck in BGC rush hour traffic will not get better mileage than an ordinary driver going at a constant 100 kph on the highway.

Correct! I don't really pay much attention to the range as it just gives you an estimate based on your current or latest FC mileage. So if you just drove on the highway, the range will be much larger... then try being stuck in rush hour traffic and that range will drop proportionally with your FC mileage.

Sir, do you ever use the Econ mode? I can feel the difference in throttle and power but does it really affect fuel efficiency that much?

Yup, most of the time whenever I'm not in a hurry, I keep econ mode on. There's no difference in power, only in throttle response. I prefer the late response as it allows for smoother driving so that you don't have to be too light on the throttle. I turn it off whenever I prefer to drive quickly.

Difference in efficiency? Not much, at least not as much as other factors like traffic or driving hard.

Really liking the engine on the RS. It's quite refined when you are driving normally and fuel consumption isn't bad. There's hardly any turbo lag. I can feel the boost from as low as 1500-rpm. The turbo on my SH9 FXT had no meaningful boost below 2500 then belts out everything above 2800. On the RS the boost comes on more progressively. The CVT probably helps a lot.

Thanks sa insights sir. I rarely do long highway drive. Always city driving. So it's just right.

What i do kasi is I turn Econ ON whenever I'm in city driving with moderate to heavy traffic... then when in the highway or when i need to do a lot of overtaking I turn Econ Off...

Still new and experimenting with it. And I'm not really sure of the fuel efficiency effect yet. hehe

    Thanks for the reply sir!
