July 2nd, 2017 11:59 PM #3082contrary to some casas' claims, dapat, wala. none of my cars has fogging nor condensation inside the housing. one is 14 years old.
possibilities include:
1. the housing has a crack.
2. the bulb holder isn't properly seated.

July 4th, 2017 10:39 AM #3083so I got my VX last friday and noticed the ff:
1. it's a pain to dry the side of the doors when exposed to rain.
2. trunk area dome light doesn't turn on (will check when I get back home if there's a switch or something)
3. while drying the portions related to #1, I noticed that there are whitish spots (paint chip) on the rear passenger side about 1 cm
4. there is a rather deep scratch on the rear passenger side window of about 1 inch long.
I'll try to take pics when I get home. Currently I'm using my old city while waiting for OR/CR.

July 4th, 2017 12:54 PM #3086it's 2017 based on the documents. yes, I did inspect but it was delivered to me and it was rather late and dark during that time kaya di ko napansin agad. nung nagpunas lang ako to dry the side of the doors, doon ko lang napansin. SA told me to submit photos then baka ipaayos na lang during PMS visit.
i'm not really blaming them since I signed off when receiving the car, but still they should have better quality control and handling.

July 4th, 2017 12:54 PM #3087Hi! I just want to share what happened to our 1 yr. & 10-months old Jazz. Met an accident minutes after its 60k PMS w/ all new tires and brakes, good thing no one was injured, suffered only scratches from the seatbelt during impact, thanks to the front and side curtain airbags that deployed.
We bought the car in cash, 1st year insurance under Prudential but decided to transfer to GSIS car insurance on its 2nd year ‘coz of their very compelling 6k comprehensive insurance compared to Prudential’s around 24k.
Honda’s repair estimate totaled 850k. Car was declared a total loss by GSIS. At first, their offer was at 40% salvage value, meaning they can only offer 535k for settlement. We felt very shortchanged with the settlement, but GSIS explained that unlike private insurance companies, they cannot shoulder the salvage value yet since they’re still ‘new’ to the business daw, kelangan talaga nila ipasa sa insurer ang salvage value. We tried to haggle and their last offer was 670k, we accepted it and now waiting for the cheque to be released.
We’re planning to use the settlement pang 30 or 40% down for a bigger vehicle, I really want to wait for the new CR-V diesel but we badly need a car asap for long distance travels and I feel that it will be pricey like the CX5 diesel. Now, my choices were down to Fort V, MS GLS Prem, or Eve 2.2 Titanium. But I’ll let my mother decide which is which ‘coz she’ll be the one to pay for the monthly amortization.
Lastly, here are the issues/problems I encountered after years of owning the Jazz, (1) may rattling/kalampag sa tailgate, I suspect it’s within the latch area (2) the dome light was already malfunctioning (3) mejo may tire noise (4) sometimes nahihinaan si mama sa aircon esp. when she sits at the back and (5) the battery lasted for less than a year w/c I feel na hindi normal sa brand new cars.
Other than that, I’m really impressed with the jazz’s whole package, the space mgt and features are really impressive, it really helped a lot during my thesis days. The size is also perfect pang city driving madaling maka singit sa traffic, and the engine is powerful for its size, sarap pang overtake lalo na kung ako lang nagda-drive at naka power mode..
