good day po.

asking po on my honda city type z vtec. biglang di gumana speedometer ko then habang tumatakbo umilaw check engine. i tried huminto then patay engine and start again, nawala ilaw ng check engine pero habang tumatakbo umiilaw ulit. ano kaya reason. ok naman takbo wala naman ako napansin sa andar ng car.

A/T? If it's a speed sensor problem and not with the instrumentation (ie. gauge cluster or CAN bus communication issues), then that would throw off the ECM/PCM. The latter relies on the current vehicle speed, RPM, engine load, among other parameters, to make decisions on when to shift. But this is just a guess. It's prudent to have it scanned so it can hopefully lead you to the root cause.

Try mo sa FB Marketplace kung meron malapit sa inyo na repair shop na may scanner. Wag lang "clear codes". Dapat mahanap nila root cause.

Malawak ang Cavite, sorry no idea kung kanino ka dapat pumunta. Although may mga Rapide sa Cavite. Use best judgment nalang.
