A/T? If it's a speed sensor problem and not with the instrumentation (ie. gauge cluster or CAN bus communication issues), then that would throw off the ECM/PCM. The latter relies on the current vehicle speed, RPM, engine load, among other parameters, to make decisions on when to shift. But this is just a guess. It's prudent to have it scanned so it can hopefully lead you to the root cause.

August 20th, 2024 10:38 AM #2Manual po, vtec engine. di naman umiilae check angine dati un lng nung di na gumana speedometer ko once tumakbo ako ng medyo malaya umiilaw check engine. pero once off then start, nawawala pero imiilaw ulit once tumakbo na ako ng medyo malayo. may kilala po ba kau na nag scan dito sa cavite?
