Honda sold 417 HR-V's last year, even if the new model was already available in some markets
452 in 2020
I don't think Honda PH is pushing the HR-V to outsell the CR-V and (once locally made) BR-V
Honestly, I'm personally disappointed not to see the hybrid version offered locally...
Honda Sensing is a big plus as most people I know who drive the HR-V locally are new lady drivers
(unlike in SG where it was once the #1 Grab/Uber car for Singaporean Chinese drivers)

2022 Honda HR-V: Why no base turbo or RS variant? | Autoindustriya
According to Honda Cars PH General Manager Atty. Louie Soriano and Honda Cars PH President Masahiko Nakamura, they recognize the advantages of many rival models when it comes to price, features, and even engines. But they are banking on the strength of the Honda brand, their servicing, and the many more attributes that make Honda such a popular brand in the Philippine market to keep the HR-V in its rightful place in the segment.Atty. Louie Soriano confirmed that the HR-V RS 1.5 turbo is coming. As to when exactly, of course, the Honda PH GM did not specify. As for its pricing, he wouldn't say anything either. But of course, it's expected to be considerably more expensive than the V variant. As to how much, we reckon it would probably be in the PHP 1.7-million range.
