Have the SA verify if it's required or recommended ... Tell them to show you the memo ...

5,000 km pa lang tinakbo e. I don't think brake cleaning is needed.

It's not a silent recall after all. I think the SA's are just instructed to insert as many extras as possible.

And this is after me telling him to remove all unnecessary extras. Pumayag din naman finally.

Guess these dealers are feeling the pinch of rising costs as well.

You can do brake cleaning every 12 months and just do it outside casa. It will not cost you 1k for the brake cleaner and labor cost

If you have all-disc brakes, you don't even have to clean them at all if you never go through floods. Just hose them down every once in a while then drive away to dry.

I just let my preferred casa do the optional brake stuff since I typically will have stripped off all non-essentials. Parang support ko na sa kanila. I actually see them doing the routine even if it is not really required in my case. More of pa spray-spray lang, konting punas and then pahid na ng quit-squeal sa rotors.

Ewan ko lang ha but I think the quit-squeal actually made my brakes growl when it's cold during the mornings.

Does anyone else feel like the seats aren't padded enough? They're ok for short drives but on long ones I really feel the lack of cushioning on the backrest.

More on the butt. I had to buy a pillow to reduce the pain.

Out of all cars we've had, the CRV has the best seats for me. Wide seats with good bolstering and perforated leather means that it's comfy with good support and isn't tiring to be in even on long drives.
