Question lang mga bossing, what's the radiator like thing that's inside the driver side wheel well?

Ang weird kasi ng placement for a breathing mechanism to be since it would get dirty and clogged up in no time being inside the wheel well of a car.. Tapos pag baha pa..? Na sa lower section pa naman siya.

Sealed system naman sya, kahit lubog sa tubig no problem. Just powerspray it pag nag papa carwash ka para malinis.

anybody else notice or hear some random revs from the engine (diesel) when coasting? nothing too drastic (feels more like a single light tap to the gas pedal).. but not intended either (as my foot is off the accelerator)

The civic RS is in the front center position, behind plate# to take advantage of high pressure area in that location and larger inlet opening area. Yes, agree same location with gas 1.5 turbo CRV in US market, etc.


However, with diesel Crv * 120hp and low pressure turbo, you dont really need much intercooling so a smallish intercooler cramped on wheel well is enough to justify the size and production cost.

You can do an experiment, log your Intake air temp during summer and hataw driving. If you'll read higher than 70deg C, then you may want to upsize the IC pero I doubt it and kung worth it pa. Hehe..

From what I recall, 75c is warning/check engine/ slight loss of power. Then 80c ia full cut/limp mode.

Thanks guys. I noticed na after a few years, nagshoshort na ang wirings inside the cig plug at pumuputok na car fuse
