September 24th, 2009 10:35 PM #1pls help! 96 LXi A/T meron isa "tok" sound when turning lalo na kpag nagbanking.. minsan lng naman pero annoying kc malakas minsan... napalitan na lahat ng pang ilalim ko.. balljoints, cv joints, stabilizers, suspension bushings, etc... wla naman kalog ang axle... wala ring kalampag pang ilalim since napalitan na nga lahat... napacamber at align ko na din... hayyyz! anybody here experienced this case?

san po ba kayo nagpa ayos ng sasakyan? hinde ba pwede ibalik para ma check nila yung ingay na sinasabi niyo. mahirap kasi manghula lalo kung i dedescribe mo lang yung ingay kung kelan nangyayari.
in case lang na nasa south side kayo, try niyo ipa check sa cruven sa sucat road. magaling sila gumawa ng pang ilalim ang so far ang experience ko sa kanila, before and after ayusin i tetest drive para more or less satisifed ka sa gawa nila.

could also be engine mounts on either side. i suggest you check them.

September 25th, 2009 11:52 AM #5actually, napa camber at wheel align ko na... usually kpag nagrereverse ako tapos magsteer ako whichever turn meron isang malakas na tunog na ramdam sa steering wheel.. ok pa naman rack & pinion ko walang tagas.. pero iniisip ko yng engine support rubber nya malapit sa mga belts ginawan lng ng paraan ng mekaniko kc crack na, possible kaya na don din?

September 25th, 2009 11:56 AM #6hayzz.. dami na mekaniko tumingin di pa rin makuha san galing yng tunog.. sabi nong isa mekaniko sakit daw ng honda civic yun, reject daw yun during that time na nilabas... sort of factory defect na di na daw sinosolve ng honda since di naman daw harmful.. pero its annoying kc everytime i make a full turn especially coming from reverse & matagal na stopped.. pls help mga bro! tnx..

September 25th, 2009 12:01 PM #7ask ko na din.. doing a caster job will be a factor of solving this? as per mekaniko na nag align & camber kylangan na daw yun.. im kinda new & not that exposed sa mga sira ng car lalo na underchasis problem.. pls help!

September 25th, 2009 12:45 PM #9thanks.. cguro pacheck ko na rin yung rack & pinion.. im juz wondering lng kc kpag naka-stop tapos i-turn ko whichever direction yng steering wheel wala naman tunog.. kpag nagreverse ako usually sabay ng pagliko.. lalo na kpag bigla or mabilis yng pagliko.. pero pansin ko naman kpag slowly yng pagliko kahit whole turn wala tunog.. hmmm.. ano kaya yun?

probably not.
something is loose and has enough slack to make a sound within your engine bay, or below it. since you replaced nearly the whole front suspension, your next targets should be the mounts, sticking dampers or too soft dampers, mounts for the dampers, wheel bearings and maybe your cv joints.
loose rack end and tie rod also make the sound you speak of. what kind of parts did you replace them with? taiwan or "japan"? my experience is that those parts should be replaced by orig, or branded oem parts, not generic taiwanese knock offs.
