Terrible Tagaytay Traffic (summer weekends, esp holy week)

Arrived yesterday here in Tagaytay. Sa Batino via Highlands ako dumaan kaya walang traffic. Nung palabas ako ng Highlands merong sign papunta sa may Palace in the Sky na to slex. Saan kaya daan nito?

I think that road will lead towards Canlubang Golf and into the heart of Nuvali...I'm not sure if it's passable by cars.

May sign so na to Slex it should be passable. Ewan ko lang quality ng road. Based sa google maps parang mas shorter ang route. Medyo nalalayuan ako sa Batino.

I know mountain bikers use that route. I'll have to try it one of these days.

The trail looks interesting. Parang sarap mag adventure kaso I cant risk it since I am with my kids. Will use Sta. Rosa or Batino on my way back tomorrow.

By the way, how's the crowd at Sky Ranch these past 2 days? Parang ayaw ko nang puntahan kung masikip at baka maipit lang ako sa traffic.

Bikers call this the reverse Palace in the Sky route

another backroad option is by way of amadeo via manggahan in governor's drive. go left when it forks going to amadeo town proper. it'll take you to the tagaytay intesection that goes to the cityhall/mahogany market.

Talked a Highlands guard. Not in good condition pa daw. Dapat lagay nila na not passable sa small cars.

Haba ng pila ng pababa via sta rosa kanina around 7pm. Skyranch puno pa rin at around 9pm.

naka tsamba pala kami kanina pag punta sa tagaytay.. wala masyado traffic, mag build up lang pag may mabagal sa harap. pumunta kami 230pm via sta rosa mahaba pila pababa, pauwi wala din traffic same route 10pm..
