Yup consideration at common sense lang naman kailangan.. check if makakadaan ba sasakyan sa tabi mo after mo pumarada, kung masikip, find a new spot.
Well, I could agree na sa mall maganda pumarada.. kaso even sa mall naglipana ang tanga, makapal mukha at makasarili... here you go another Vios PIQ-730 parked at a mall's basement here sa Mandaluyong.

Ask lang ako ng idea senyo, here's the story.
In our office each of us have a designated parking slot. Parking layout is 3 slots poste then 3 slots.
unfortunately my slot is on the middle, i dont know if is it just me pero ayoko talaga na nakaparada ako in between cars, kasi the probability of my car being bumped/scratched is higher kasi nga dalawa yun pumaparada sa tabi ko.
Ample naman yun spaces of each slots, kaso you need to really park you car exactly on the middle of the lines. Kinaiinis ko lang is yun katabi ko sa kaliwa, since yun kabilang side niya is poste ayaw niya iparada ng maayos yung kotse niya, i mean wala siya sa gitna, he's inside his slot pero gabuhok na lang yun distance ng gulong niya dun sa linya. Sakto naman if he will park it properly on the middle, hindi naman siya tatama dun sa poste pero hindi ko magets parang ilang na ilang siya sa poste. ang ending hindi ako makalabas sa pintuan ko.
I'm thinking if i should call his atention, logicaly he's inside his box but still for me mali pa din. Like others who posted on this thread pag ako nag park i make considerations sa katabi ko, wala ako maaabala, hindi alanganin yun parada ko. Sad to say hindi lahat ng drivers ata ganun ang thinking. Basta pasok sa box ayus na yan!

Reminds me of the one parking in the middle of 3 slots in our condo basement. We're on the slot to her (yes, owner is a middle aged lady) right. Sinasagad niya yung napakalaki niyang CRV Gen 1 sa rightmost part nung slot. Within the lines pero sagad to the right, tapos di pa niya isasagad paharap. So when I park the Prado on our slot, sagad din ako sa poste sa kanan, with some difficulty turning into the slot coz front parking dapat, Di naman siguro mas mahaba yung CRV diba? Grrr...
Anyhow, I suggest you ask the owner nicely. Baka he can adjust a bit since nasa gilid na siya at libre naman yung driver's door niya for him to alight without difficulty, unlike you who have to eke your way out. If he gives you attitude or does nothing about it, then why don't you park forward, pinahan mo din yung linya. At least you get to maximize your slot as well. Donwside, if he's as stupid as we think he is, then baka sabitan ka.

Hindi ko kasi alam ugali niya, he might get annoyed thinking na he's parked between the lines ng slot niya baka ako pa mukhang maarte at tanga.
Before my slot is beside the post and sagad ako sa poste i even fold my side mirrors on my side kaya ang luwag talaga ng clearance para dun sa gitnang slot.

Kaya ingat lang with the double edged sword approach.
Can you ask for another slot?
Dito naman sa office, I just recalled, ako nga pala yung nasa gitnang slot. To the left is an Expedition EL and to the right is either an Accord or Civic. As much as I can, I try to park the Grand Starex or Prado in the dead center of the slot, so as not to inconvenience the other 2. Sometimes, of course, I sorta miss that dead center, but still am far from either dividing line, so I'll see who ever left and came back, that he made a bit of an adjustment to get a few more cms of space. Thankfully, they both are not scared of the posts adjacent to their respective slots.Last edited by IMm29; February 28th, 2013 at 12:26 PM.

Pakiusapan mo lang, approach him nicely. hehe.
