i think reason din ang knowledge kaya the statistics is as it is.

October 10th, 2007 08:02 PM #23Basta naman nakakapagbasa, pede na.
Ang masama naun, wala naman halos natututunan sa driving school(walang tinuro saking right of way) at un iba sa fren/family natuto. Dapat magbasa pa ng driving manual(A1 has one). At least 1 household should have a copy.
At d lang babasahin ng isang beses. Dapat mga 2-3 times mabasa entirely. Ulitin hangat parang naka program na sa atin. At paminsan2x nire-review. Just like what we do with the bible. Dahil buhay ang nakasalalay sa pagda-drive.

I think it's more of who has learned acceptable road courtesy basics rather than educational attainment. This is in assumption that at least he/she has to be literate. (sadly, in the rural areas, you don't have to be literate to get a license, we had a driver before with a red jacket license who couldn't even read nor write... no kidding...

often times narerecognize ko ang sasakyan kapag tumatakbo, "ay babae yan...." and often times tama ako... no offense pero madalang ako makakita based on my own experience na magaling magdrive na babae... un ang palagi na pinag aawayan namin ng gf ko pag nagddrive, masyado daw ako... super discrimination daw.... pero sabi ko, "sori naman... pero ikaw na rin ang naging witness diba, countless times na sinasabi ko na anu ba naman etong driver na ito... then nakita natin eh lady driver pala...."... sometimes i cant blame it to her, pero most of the time na napapa-angal ako sa nagmamaneho sa harap ko eh pag tingin ko babae talaga, there was one instance na ung gf ko mismo naasar, i was driving but she was the one who pressed the horn continously, kasi ung nasa harap namin ang hirap tantsahin, hindi mo malaman kung mag leleft or didiretso, asar na asar sya, then nung naka on shoulder na namin nakita namin na lady driver pala.... so i just grinned... a very big grin and did not even say a thing nor even chuckled, but a very big smile followed... then my gf stared at me and got a lil angry... and she said... nagkataon lang... hehe... sabi ko "Palagi naman...palagi ka in denial hehehe"

hahahaha... baka nga nagkakataon lang pre... GF ko din ganyan yung reaksyon... baka nagkakataon na madalas siguro... But on the bright side, women are fast catching up, to think that they only had been recently introduced to the world of automobile driving en masse compared to men. Fast learners talaga sila. There is even a VOLVO YCC, a female inspired concept car designed by women too. (walang hood!!!)

One thing I know that all of you will agree is that Women are better backseat drivers than men.
Like when I'm driving ituturo ni misis liko dito, liko doon, stop dito, stop doon, wag magovertake, ang bilis na ng takbo mo dear (we were only doing 70kph that time), balik muna tayo sa mall me nakalimutan akong bilhin (nasa highway na kayo sa labas ng mall). Get the picture?
