I bought a Navara and they have this promos and one of them is free hood guard, yung parang plastic sa harap ng hood na parang bigote ng sasakyan kung titingnan..
For aesthetics lang ba o may purpose ito?

In places where you travel that have a lot of bugs it directs air so less of them hit your windshield and hood when you are going fast. Also prevents rocks from hitting the leading edge of your hood.

pero sometimes, if your car does have a hood scoop for intercooler, puting a hoodguard sometimes defeat the purpose the intercooler.
