what's with the "R"?

a few days ago, kasama ko gf ko, when we saw a white mazda 3. sabi ko ganda ng oto nya... then my gf asks me ano yun "R"? ...and points to the mazda. pagtingin ko sa trunk emblems ---- Mazda 3R... sinagot ko gf ko baka size ng picture 3R...

ganda na oto nilagyan pa ng "R"...

AFAIK, its a variant of Mazda3 in the Philippines. Pero yari ka pa din sa mga naka Mazda3, aabangan ka sa kalsada, nyahahahha

The new Mazda3 will be priced at P719,000 for the 1.6S, P780,000 for the 1.6V and P915,000 for the 2.0R. But Mazda Philippines is kind enough to give “pre-selling” introductory prices to the first 100 buyers: P699,000 for the 1.6S, P760,000 for the 1.6V and P899,000 for the 2.0R.

The high-end 2.0R has automatic rain-sensing wipers, automatic light-sensing headlamps, dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, sunroof, amber-illuminated instrument panel, leather seats and smoked taillights. The 1.6V gets dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, black-and-red fabric seats and 16-inch alloy wheels. The base model 1.6S has a driver-side airbag and 15-inch alloy wheels. All three variants are equipped with a 6-disc in-dash CD player with steering wheel-mounted controls.

but usually...an R prefix denotes a racing or sporty variant right? hmmm...parang cliche na ata minsan ang R. my opinion anyway.

R means Revolution kung baga kung 3R hanggang 3000rpm lang redline na:bwahaha: may mga taong di mo makausap ng matino

hahahahaha! mapapa-OT na naman ito. ang alam kong 3R eh yung show sa GMA7 kung andun yung kamukha ng friend ko na patay na patay ako sa kanya. hahahaha!
