I'm talking about the new Hyundai XG and Suzuki Swift.
The Hyundai XG350 was released in the US to get some Lexus/MB/Merc buyers over to the Hyundai side, turns out not even Camry/Accord buyers cared. Well, it's 2005 and Hyundai wants to change that by offering the next gen XG also called Grandeur which is slightly bigger than the outgoing one, and offers memory power seats,17-in wheels,dual-climate control,CD changer with premium sound, more airbags and faux wood for the price of V6 Accord/Camry.In the US, it will be called Hyundai XG380 and gets a bigger engine- 3.8L V6 242hp. Other markets will get the 2.2L turbodiesel and 3.3L V6 (XG220; XG330?).
and is this car out in other markets yet? looks nifty and appears way better than the funky Aerio.

my 2 cents,
Phil scenario, its all about the badge (its the truth).
why would you buy a Hyundai when you can afford a Camry or an Accord.

as of now, my friend from Suzuki Philippines told me that they have no plans in bringing the car here. Hyundai looks kinda nice
