pag new...
small van - Chevrolet Sahira, 1.8 liter Opel gasoline engine, 137 hp, 7 seater. Since original Opel yan imported from germany, you can be sure of quality and reliability. price is 995k yata.
medium size - nothing beats the toyota previa - 2.4 liter gas engine, 157 hp, 7 seater (2 captain's seat front, 2 captain's seat middle and reclining bench with arm rests last row). it's a toyota! only setback is the price, 2 million++ yata hehehehe!
pag used...
mura na L300 na used ngayon, tingin ka sa buynsell dami dun.
or may I suggest a Hyundai Grace? 260k maganda na. kung pang toyota previa ang budget mo e di bili ka ng 8 units! o di ba, wala na color coding, pwede kahit ano day mo gamitin ligtas ka sa mmda!Last edited by yebo; January 3rd, 2004 at 05:31 PM.

SInce you plan to use it for utility, get a diesel van.
What's the budget of your pinsan? Usually pag utility/people carrier on a budget, i'd go with a Nissan Urvan Escapade. It has a good engine (TD27) and can sit 12 peeps or 9 peeps plus luggage.Eto yung office van service namin na sobrang abuso.

January 5th, 2004 09:41 AM #5thanks peeps...he's looking into korean vans kc...advise ko sa kanya e kung itutuloy man nya e wag na kumuha ng 2nd hand...no offense intended, pero ang impression ko kc sa korean cars e medyo sirain pa rin, esp ung kaha...e he's not the typical car buff na hilig mag alaga ng kotse...parts are quite cheap and plenty though

hyundai grace is a mitsubishi L300 in korean garb. same engine, same underchasis. the only difference is the injection pump (w/c all hyundai grace owners I talked to swear is better than the mitsu injection pump) and the aircon compressor (w/c is korean made).

Di naman madaling masira/kalawangin ung stock chassis(i.e. no additional rustproofing/etc. done)?
