January 29th, 2004 12:03 PM #2if your car has an 02 sensor now, if it doesn't work your check engine light will most likely appear.
replacing it is just a case of unscrewing the o2 sensor, and tapping the lines. prices will vary dependign on the type of sensor

I need help with my o2 sensor too.
I have a faulty o2 sensor, its running too rich. I connected them to my bosch diagnostic and the result was o2 sensor is dead. no voltage showing at all.
I unplugged them and been running with this not connected. My engine is running lean. I try not use much of my turbo. keeping it below 3k rpm.
My question is will running your engine very lean can cause damage?
Ill replace my o2 sensor eventually. But would like to ask if it will damage the engine.

Replacing the O2 sensor is easier than replacing spark plugs.
