personally eto list of repairs ko for 2nd hand cars...
1. brakes check - change pad (if required), check for leaks. Depende sa itim ng fluid, pinapalitan k din ng bago (ingat sa pag palit ng fluid, may experience ako na nag leak yung rubber ng pistons ng brakes ko since di nag matach yung old and new fluids ko)
2. aircon - linis/check. just to be sure
3. alignment
4. bushings and suspension
cosmetic repairs, sounds and seat covers will go last.

October 2nd, 2017 12:04 PM #1520K might not be enough for the repairs you listed. In my opinion medyo talo ka pre. Pero andyan na yan, i dont think the seller would agree to get the car back. Paayos mo na lang and sulitin.

October 3rd, 2017 12:59 AM #16Since you said 2002 model na Fit yun at 160k lang, malamang Japan surplus converted unit ang nabili mo. This often means that the steering system, front suspension and aircon system have been raped/violated/cannibalized.
O 200k? Hehe~ If 20k nga lang daw, pagawan mo na. I spent around 120k thereabouts to get our Japan surplus Granvia to roadworthy condition. This included replacing pretty much the entire front suspension (upper and lower arms and shocks) plus the sagging coil springs in the rear. Of course most importantly, the converted steering rack had to go too. Radiator overhaul was done just to play safe. AC compressor needed overhauling, AC ducts (they used orange PVC tubes!) and cooling coil needed replacing, and general cleaning for the AC system. Roof needed repainting since it was faded and rusting in some places. Windshield was leaking rainwater so I had to have it resealed. Brake master cylinder and rear drum assembly also needed replacing. Of course I also replaced the old non-working stereo, exhausted battery and installed HIDs too. Was it worth it? Yes! Ride quality is the best among all the cars in our garage, bulletproof 1KZ engine has never failed me even in long drives (Laguna, Tagaytay, Pampanga and Baguio) and has so far covered 11tkms since we got it around September last year.

October 3rd, 2017 10:19 AM #17Ibenta mo na agad yan paps.
Dati muntik narin ako mapabili ng 2nd hand na lancer hotdog at 70k. Chineck ko muna at drive test. ayun maganda pa manakbo yung owner type jeep namin dati haha.
mas maganda gawin, get a brand new car. maybe accent crdi or honda city. Or Kei car para affordable talaga.
Ganun din kasi magagastos mo monthly kakapaayos. Para kang naghuhulog sa brnadnew car. And at the end of the day, you will end up buying a brand new car dahil sa sobrang stress at sakit sa ulo.
Nasabi ko nga na muntik na ko mapabili ng 2nd hand na lancer na 70k sa OLX na fresh in and out. haha
Nag down ako sa celerio ng 58k and 10k monthly.
Fluids, air box filter, and 1 gulong palang napalitan ko. Baterya pala kakabili ko lang kahapon. Bumigay na after 4 years and a couple of months.
Just to add.

Ang pinagpipilian ko kasi next year is City or accent crdi. Yung manual ang plano ko.
Isama mo na rin yung suzuki ciaz
