April 16th, 2004 09:37 AM #1Hi tsikot peeps, asked ko lang ang inyong opinions and advise.
I've learned to drive yr 1991. Left the country 1993 to work overseas, last time na nakapag drive ako ulit was 1996, didn't have any chance to drive after that. Now that i bought my own ride, how do i gain back my confidence in driving? medyo kabado na ako seeing the traffic situation sa metro mla.
My friend suggested to enroll sa pma (phil motorist assoc) and not sa driving school. Saan driving school ok? Never did i enrol in any driving school, tatay ko lang nagturo sa akin mag-drive.
Thanks a lot sa inyong mga replies...

Sabi nila it's like riding a bike. You never forget. Of course sabi rin nila an unused knife still gets dull over time (or something, sorry nakalimutan ko na yung exact expression).
Practice ka na lang ng practice. Masasanay ka na ulit. Short trips muna. Then longer ones. Then really long ones...
Talagang mababangga ka. Kasama sa experience yun. Ganon talaga.

If I were you, since dati ka na naman nagmamaneho, konting praktis na lang yan (atras-abante-park, ikot-ikot sa hood) and everything will come back to you.
Kapag bumalik na confidence mo, labas ka na, pero huwag ka muna makipag-pinahan sa ibang sasakyan, hayaan mo muna sila.
Wag ka na mag-aksaya ng pera sa driving school.
IMHO lang po.
