September 28th, 2006 09:30 AM #11Probably true, I also noticed that in the Tucson. The metal sheet used seems to be thicker than the one in the Altis and the 2001 Civic. Even the hood and hinges are more rigid. Just dont know if thicker means stronger as i have no idea of the metal composition of the materials used.

Yeah like AE101 and AE111, very similar cars but the latter is heavier supposedly for better crash protection (or so I've read).
AE101 weighs about as much as a Vios.
