hi guys.. share ko lang for all of us
is it just me or kung napansin ninyo din nung nagaaral pa kayo during your college days including those who are in college right now.
bakit ang mga babae pansin ko sila yung may mga ride na brand new or maybe a car that is only a few months,1 or 2 years old while most of the boys are using a car used already by dad, uncle or older brother? older models
naisip ko lang, back then i was using an 89 corolla, my father bought it brand new when i was still in prep after 9 he gave it to my older brother pampasok for college, 5 years later it was my turn. never sumayad sa isip ko na gagamitin ko papala yung car na yun after all those years, but thanks to my father dahil magaling siya pagdating sa maintenance ng kotse kaya tumagal samin ng 17 years yung corolla w/ only the exterior as the minor problem before we sold it to a new owner. just sharing

March 1st, 2007 12:29 AM #3haha this is soo true. pansin din ng sister ko na masmaganda usually yun mga cars ng girls compared to the boys in college. my sister had a pretty new car in college and her friend got a BN altis in college. but her guy friends have beat up corollas or any old car. hindi naman sa mahirap or mayaman. kahit roughly same "richness" usually masbulok tlga yun sa guys.
i guess mas humble mga guys at payag na sa bulok or old cars. personally i didnt mind not getting a brand new car in college. i guess nakakahiya pag binigyan yun girl ng old or beatup car.

kase mga girls d marunong magbutinting ng auto (minsan d pamarunognamg warm up ng car. lol) so parang less prone to break down ang newer cars.. shempre with girl drivers mas mahirap masiraan sa gitna ng daan... baka sa alangan lugar pa sila masiraan. mapahamak pa. unlike guys mas kaya natin makipagsuntukan ahehehe... and yea sa guys mabangga man ang old car hindi mashado masakit... hehehehe

I remember my Dad offering to let me use his old car. I told him I rather commute. More chicks to see that way. Plus, I have better excuses for staying out late. I also didn't have the heart to say it's a piece of junk.
My folks offered to buy my sister a new car. She turned that one down. She preferred to ride in our old car "chaffeured" by Dad.
And no. They didn't offer me a new car. Not even close.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; March 1st, 2007 at 08:23 PM.

March 2nd, 2007 12:14 PM #8Honga noh? its unfair!!!
When my dad told me he wanted to buy my first car (BN City 2006) after five years my daughter told me he wanted the car when she is old enough to drive. hehehe kids.
I told my daughter there are better cars when that time comes.
But the idea never crossed my mind if I have a son to offer a newer car to my daughter. I'd rather my son drive her ate around when the time comes... hehehe
