Will the warranty on a new car be void if you do some mods on it?
For example, if you lower the car, valid parin ba yung warranty?

Sa Wheels Inc. po, void yung warranty pag sa labas ng casa mo pinagawa yung mods. Yun ngang simpleng pagkabit ng replacement na busina, dapat daw sa casa gagawin, otherwise void yung warranty for the electrical system. YMMV.

Voiding of vehicle warranty would depend on several factors all of which are written on your warranty booklet. Take a glance.
Just like what mikey177 has said most warranties are not void if your dealer is one who will install your preferred aftermarket accessory like in your case lowering of the car. There was a case a few years ago when owners of Mazda 323 Familia who later opted to upgrade their current cars to Mazda SPeed parts whose warranties where not void basta casa gagawa. (This includes their lowering springs by Eibach). It's advisable to ask your dealer first before installing or doing anything.

i think lowering and even changing to a different size wheel+tire would definitely void the suspension warranty. but that won't void the warranty for other systems of the car not affected by the suspension work, like the engine, aircon, rust, electrical etc etc

Heto po ang mga ikinabit sa Besta ko noong dinala ko sa Banawe:
*Remostar anti-theft system.
*Nokia LX12 car phone.
*Pioneer HU and 12 stack CD Changer.
*Full wheel covers.
*Seat covers.
*Hella Horns.
*Underdash courtesy lamps (just like on BMW's and Miatas).
*Pedal pads.
*Ultimat floor mats.
BUT my warranty was never voided when I asked them to:
*Replace one of the interior side panels (punit).
*Eliminate the rattle on the roof.
*Fix my leaking thermostat housing.
*Front wheel alignment.
*Defective front shocks.
*And a whole lot of little stuff.
