Is the Foton MPX really powered by a CRDi engine? I chanced upon one in their booths in SM. The badges at the back tell that the unit should be CRDi but a peek in the engine compartment reveals an old 4JB1.

Nope. It's got the same engine as the Isuzu Fuego of the 90's. My friend has one. Doesn't feel anything near a CRDi.

saw a Foton MPX with a red plate.
in fairness, it's quite a looker and the engine sounds similar to CRDIs not like the old isuzu engines.

may nakasabay akong ganito sa nlex....mabilis din pala to...hehe...I was cruising 80kph and it accelerated pass me nicely without a trace of smoke...
kamusta naman kaya ito after 5 years hehe? personally Im not worried about the engine....what am I worried about is the suspension...
