Ford lynx 1.3 MT advice please

Hi,

Looking at Ford Lynx 1.3 MT. Same engine and suspension daw sa Mazda? How true? Which Mazda? Any issues with this model? Easy to fix ba by any mechanic sa banawe or need ng Ford specialist? Any common failure points?

Mas mahal ba pyesa kesa Honda or Isuzu?
Di naman siguro Chevrolet or BMW prices ang pyesa? May mga replacement Po ba? Reliable ba replacement?

Ok po ba Aircon? Ano Po compressor brand?

Any other thoughts?

Ang 1.3 na MT, may common problem Po ba sa tranny? Affected ba ito sa dual clutch issue ng Ford?

Sa alam ko may shared parts ang Ford Lynx sa kasabayan niya na Mazda 323. Kaso hindi ko na parehas nakikita ito sa daan. Kaya malamang mahirap na piyesa nito, at kung meron, baka mahal na.

i vaguely recall a topgear.ph magazine used car column,
"it's a good car".
perhaps one may upload the article.

and as in any used car,
"caveat emptor."
we have no idea how the previous owner (mal-)treated the car.

in my previous ford experience,
i found out that they did not sell parts by the piece; they sell by the assembly.
i do not know how they sell their parts now.
that is, if one can find them, as there are so few of them now.

AFIK throttle position and camshaft sensor ang madalas problema niyan.

My cousin had a lynx. Sa casa lang daw siya nakakuha piyesa per order. I think abandoned na niya somewhere sa village nila sa antipolo ang lynx niya

Ford Laser pala yang "Lynx" na yan.

Yung sa 80's Ghia version, impressed kaming mga bata noon sa digital bar speedometer niya. It reminded us of the led bar of KITT ("Knight Rider") that moved from left to right

Sa replies, mukhang magiging sakit ng ulo yang balak bilhin ng poster.
The owner/seller's prob. trying to find a "sucker" to take it off his hands rather than scrap it.
