July 30th, 2018 04:50 PM #7102hi mga sir!
just want to ask for info and suggestions regarding ford everest since we never owned one.
1) is it true na sirain and unreliable ang ford everest? ano po ung usual na sira or issue with the everest?
2) is it really expensive too maintain? how about the availability of the parts.. mahirap pa rin po ba?
3) what’ your usual fuel consumption?
4) can you suggest po any good dealer (pre and post sales reliability)?
reason po i’m asking these questions coz my papa plans to buy a SUV.. we are looking for in a suv are reliability, space, safety features and fuel consumption...
the suv we are checking right now are everest titanium premium 4x2, montero gls premium and nissan terra.
looking forward to your honest answers po. salamat.

July 30th, 2018 05:58 PM #7103Sir, if you can join the FB group Ford Everest Club Philippines (FECP), mas maganda po dun kayo magtanong, kasi lahat ng isasagot is base sa owner experience.

When I was on the market for a pickup truck a couple years ago, I was considering the ranger along with the hilux and navara, but there seems to be a problem with rangers turbo system (my close friend experience it firsthand),I just want to confirm if it's prevalent.
Nagtakipan yun members, one was so stupid as to saying " wag Ipagkalat kasi babagsak daw resale value ng ranger!!!"

July 31st, 2018 09:29 AM #7109Our family owns and owned several variants of Rangers including current model Trekker, Wildtrak, and XLT and old (2010 and 2003) models as well. Haven't had any issues with them and some are still being used as workhorses for the farm.
But as with any group, take comments w a grain of salt rin since you can't help but be biased with your purchase/choice especially if you're active in a group, which may show your passion for the car. Use comments and first hand experience from them as a barometer against 3rd party reviews as well.
