i-suggest mo na rin sa sa service supervisor na Threebond ang gamitin na gasket maker once na ikakasa na yung crankshaft oil seal then have it cured for 24 hours....ganyan talaga oil seal encounter, crankshaft/ rear crankshaft oil seal, camshaft oil seal...dapat patutuyuin yun gasket maker na babalot sa oil seal...ganyan ang gawa ko sa kotse ko non, 3 beses ako papalit-palit ng rear crankshaft oil pano pagkasalpak pinaandar ko kasi agad..ayun nawawash out yung seal kasi di pa tuyo, lumuluwa kaya nagtatagas ulit then someone adviced me dapat patutuyuin ko pala yon for 24 hours...may instance nga vulca seal pa nga ginamit ko ayun...nawala yun leak...then after a 4 months binaba namin ulit threebond na ginamit ko.

are there issues with the current ford ranger?
i heard "no so good" feedback on how ford handles complain on issues even on brandnew units.

The problem of ford dealership / service is that they dont have stock parts of "slow moving" parts such as clutch assembly, headlight, tail lights, rack and pinion etc.. They could guarantee only for the "fast moving" parts like, engine filter, fan belt etc. after 1 month of waiting, my fiesta will be repair/ replacement of transmission or clutch kit this coming weekend. So bagal..

Same sentiment as most of you guys. Maganda ang Ford vehicles in terms of driving dynamics and value. Lot's of features for the price. But then again, bagsak sila sa RELIABILITY at yun ang mahirap. Kasi no matter how fun or how feature packed your car is, if its a headache to keep then its not worth keeping... Dami ng problema sa buhay and the last thing you need is your car to add to those...

Ford replaced the TCM for free because the car was was shuddering and not able to reverse. After 1 month same thing happens. Then Ford is now charging 14500 for labor for pull down transmission. And when they opened the transmission they are charging 76500 for 2 shift forks and release bearings. They showed the transmission where the insides were full of rust. They said it is caused sa paglusong sa baha. To think that they were advertising the Ecosport having 550mm wading height. I answered if it's baha why then other components are not affected by floodwaters. Then they said that it might be to tilamsik of rainwater. To think that the Dry type DCT250 should be sealed for 10 years and Ford in other countries has extended the warranty for transmission for 7 years. Here its a robbery.
