Is it true that this new 2.0 engine have gone back to a Timing Belt and also belt driven din ang oil pump? If it is Then really needs TLC for the needed belt frequency replacement.

Originally considering the Explorer and CX-9, we recently visited Ford and Mazda dealerships. The Explorer on display had a somewhat dated interior compared to the new Everest. While the CX-9 wasn't available, we saw the impressive CX-90 in person, but it was beyond our budget.

My wife was also very impressed with the new Everest's exterior, interior, and features. So, we ended up going with the latest gen Everest.
Nung inuwi nila from Baguio casa, sabi ni wifey na mas smooth daw sya kumpara sa dati naming Fort Q.

Fuel economy is also very good and cost of ownership is reasonable.

    Enjoy your ride

hi, we purchased the 4x2 titanium late jan and have been enjoying the unit so far. odometer right now is around 5700, FC is anywhere around 7.8-8.2 km/l (manual calculation during refills). tires are usually around 35-36 psi. is this ok? usually driving on eco mode.

    some questions:

    - can we default to eco mode?
    - normal ba na may tumutunog sa sunroof? although wala namang leaks
    - can we default na hindi auto-headlights? i want it off when i turn the car on

    thanks

    - recommended TP per manual is 35 psig, should be fine.
    - it's good to play the drive settings mode nya, why settle for eco mode only?
    - hindi normal yan, send back to casa pag may tumutunog sa sunroof. good to know na may sunroof pala ang 4x2 titanium.
    - di ako sure kung nasa lights lever ang setting para maging manual ang headlights. subukan mong i-turn on either direction. yung sa akin i just leave it as-is sa auto headlights setting.

    noted on the sunroof, thanks.

i feel eco mode hatak is enough kung city driving lang naman. engine is strong enough na maski very slight apak lang sa accelerator, oks naman to move forward. we can't race this big mass of a car, anyway.

yung sa headlights, naiinis lang ako kasi kapag matapat ka lang sa medyo dark place bubukas agad. maski sa parking ng malls, on parati, sometimes nakakasilaw
