anyone knows what generation the ecoboost design is now? Especially for the Territory?

Mahirap lang din kasi sa 'expectation' na naayos na siguru nila in next/later generations is like Ford's attitude with the first gen ecoboost (total denial ito sa alala ko, di ko sure paano ito naresolve kasi engine design nila may issue), Explorer AC-Exhaust Issue, and the Dry Clutch 'no maitenance' DCT to name a few lang na medyo recent.

I am, however, one to admit, na maganda talaga packaging nitong Territory and it does deserve a consideration. Sa ngayon, medyo curious ako sa Ecoboost engine niya kung anu balita sa nagbago from first generation ecoboost.

Anyway, I just remembered, kasi member ako ng civic x group sa FB, na madalas nila ma post na early change oil warning by their maintenance minder. So I had the impression na mabilis mag degrade Ang oil sa turbo cars. Pano kaya itong territory, once a year lang pala PMS nito.
For some years now I have been doing change oil every 12 months (or around 7k to 8k km) for my turbo gas cars. I started with my Fiesta Ecoboost in late 2016 and did it with my FXT in 2018. No issues at all - no oil degradation or oil burning for both cars. I use the prescribed oil suggested in the manual.

Sold na yung Fiesta Ecoboost. We are also doing the same with our Civic RS and Jetta TDI starting last year.

In 3 more months, my Civic FB will be 1 year since it's last oil change, around 8k kms maybe, it was a quick oil change done at the casa using mineral.

Natatamad ako pa change oil, maganda pa naman ang takbo.

Just use synthetic oil and change it every year assuming you just do around 10k km per year.

CR-V has third row seats too, so the 2nd row seats are positioned more forward to make room for the 3rd row. Without the 3rd row, the CR-V has a huge cargo area but less 2nd row legroom.

The CRV has model only has 2 rows to seat 5 people. I think it is one of the most spacious CUVs in the market.

I think the CR-V with 2 rows and 3 rows have the 2nd row in the same position. The Territory is purely a 2 row vehicle so they can position the seats further back to increase rear legroom.

Kaya talaga dapat humingi ng service record kung bibili ng 2nd hand na sasakyan. Baka yung iba pinapaabot ng 1 year. 😂

The newer ecoboost engines use both direct and port injection. So carbon on intake valves will not be an issue anymore. Nagtaka nga ako gumawa pa ng bagong design para sa Territory.
